Flightontime.info recently has revealed the most punctual scheduled and budget carriers running services at Great Britain’s main air hubs, using the CAA’s (Civil Aviation Authority) information.
In the first three months of this year Eastern Airways was named the best carrier in the scheduled flight services section, followed by bmi regional and Air Berlin.
According to the statistics bmibaby was the most punctual budget carrier in this year’s first quarter, followed by Flybe and Ryanair, all of which flights experienced average delays of between 10 and 11 minutes.
Flightontime.info also surveyed several significant routes and concluded that easyJet was the most efficient on-time operator on the competitive link between airports in London and Edinburgh Airport.
On flight services between Aberdeen Airport and London EasyJet was the most punctual on-time airline as well and took the runner-up place for punctuality at Glasgow International Airport, after bmibaby.
The Civil Aviation Authority’s statistics covered flight services at a number of British principal gateways, including Manchester, Birmingham, Gatwick and Heathrow.
